After cooking, the grains remain fluffy and separate making this nutritious whole grain perfect as a side dish or as a bed for curries

Long grain brown rice is also great for stuffings, pilafs, salads, casseroles, and stir-fry dishes.

Rinse and drain rice well before cooking. Bring 2 1/2 cups water to the boil then stir in 1 cup of rice. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer for 45-50 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove cover. Fluff and serve.
To prepare in rice cooker, add 1 cup of water to 1 cup of rice.
